I have been having Splendid Spoon meals delivered for the past few years. lt has been really exciting watching them grow and offer more options every few months. Their newest meals feature gluten-free noodles and I have been LOVING them! Right now, Splendid Spoon is offering 6 different types of noodle bowls but I wouldn’t be surprised if more get added later.
All of Splendid Spoon’s meals are plant-based, gluten-free, and free of any GMO’s. If you want to know more about Splendid Spoon outside of their noodle bowls, make sure to check out my review of Splendid Spoon’s company as a whole. Their smoothies seriously light up my life. Within the past year, they also came out with Grain Bowls. If you are interested in knowing more about those, check out my Grain Bowl Review.
Today though, it is all about the noodles! I have tried 4 of their noodle bowls at this point and have some thoughts about each of them below.

I love anything with Ginger so this was the first noodle bowl I tried. In this bowl, Splendid Spoon created a literal masterpiece using rice noodles and some of my favorite vegetables including broccoli, red bell peppers, and carrots. They also added coconut aminos to give this the best flavor!
For those of you who love a little spice, there are also some jalapeños added for an extra kick. I would rate this bowl…10/10.
To be honest, I wasn’t as excited about this bowl based on the looks of it. I like meals with a variety of vegetables and different ingredients. Looks can be deceiving though! The Creamy Butternut Squash Noodles also use rice noodles and broccoli. What you can’t see though, is the butternut squash (obviously it is in there with the name). It is pureed to create a creamy texture to this dish.
In my next box, I plan to add this bowl to it. It was really filling and hit the spot flavor wise! If I had to rate it……9/10.
The Kale Pesto Noodle bowl was my favorite. I could eat this everyday. I LOVE kale, and I LOVE pesto. So to say this bowl is a perfect mix for me would be an understatement.
Roasted tomatoes are also a favorite ingredient of mine so there were no complaints about those being added. For extra protein, this bowl has several nuts and it also includes hemp seeds. If I had to rate this bowl…..10/10.
Okay, I have always been someone who has said they don’t really like the flavor of curry. Lately I thought….ya know…I haven’t tried curry in a while so maybe I will give this noodle bowl a shot. I know I keep saying this but this was surprisingly one of my favorite bowls. There were so many ingredients included and it all flowed together nicely.
This bowl was a little spicy though so if you aren’t interested in spiciness, I would skip this bowl. If I had to rate this bowl….9/10.
Overall, I loved every bowl that I tried. I am looking forward to trying the next two bowls they are currently offering!
