Healthy Cookie Dough Hummus
Hello Hello Hello
Ya know, I had a real craving the other day for something sweet and a little chocolatey. I’ve been trying hard to stay on track when it comes to eating healthier so I couldn’t just grab a Snickers bar like I wanted to. I had some garbanzo beans in the pantry figuring I would make hummus at some point and thought “hmmmmm why not try to make this into a little dessert situation”. So I did….and you’re in luck because I personally thought it was good enough to share with the world so here ya go! My very own healthy cookie dough hummus, the perfect dessert.
This recipe is for those of you who have the occasional sweet tooth but also want to eat clean and healthy. Great news for those of you with a stricter diet because this recipe is vegan and gluten-free friendly. Grab the graham crackers and bring this dip to your next party! I have a little gathering with friends this weekend and the assignment is to bring your “favorite dip”. I’ll be taking this to the party without any hesitation and making a little extra for myself to eat on throughout the week.
***Jump to Recipe***This recipe is soooooooo easy and quick to make. You don’t have to be an expert cook or baker to be able to make this well. There are some tools and ingredients I would recommend when making this though.

Vitamix or Food Processor
A Vitamix isn’t completely necessary to make this meal but it would mix the ingredients up better than your typical blender. I have made this with a food processor too and found that to be the easiest way. Here is the Vitamix that I would reccommend.

Healthy Cookie Dough Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz. can Garbanzo Beans always wash before cooking
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Pure Oats
- 1/3 cup Cashews unsalted
- 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/6 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Carob Chips other ideas include: sprinkles, chocolate chips, macadamia nuts, peanut butter chips
Instructions
- Combine garbanzo beans, cinnamon, pure oats, cashews, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt into a Vitamix (or food processor) and blend ingredients together.
- Top with carob chips (I also put a little cinnamon on top).
- Get the graham crackers and get to dipping!
And that is it! Easy peasy!
